During Your Stay

Good to know in Hwange

Practical guidance from our guest directory — malaria precautions, wildlife on the property, and more.

Malaria precautions

Hwange is a malaria-prone area. Request a mosquito net if your room does not have one. Insect sprays are provided in rooms — please do not remove them.

Wildlife on the property

Baboons and monkeys are dangerous — do not feed them. They may enter through open windows or doors; keep them closed, especially when you leave your room.

Security

Our security team patrols 24 hours a day. Please secure your valuables — the hotel cannot be held responsible for loss or damage.

Water & power

We run mainly on borehole water — please use water sparingly. A standby generator restores power when needed; supply is 220V.

Going green

Refillable shower gel, handwash, and lotion dispensers are fixed in bathrooms — please do not remove them. Towel on the rack means reuse; on the floor means replace.
